Dental head maintenance of the Morita ZX2
Lubricate this head after sixty minutes of continuous use, before lubrication and in any case at least once a day.
After disinfecting with a cloth on which disinfectant has been sprayed, if residues remain, pass the head under running water and brush with soft-bristled toothbrush.
Next, proceed to lubrication of the head. Remember to use the correct adapter: in this case, that of the Morita head.
Once you have chosen the adapter insert the instrument and then press the lubricant for one or two seconds and, if the oil does not come out clean, then repeat operation.
Remove the head and wipe it with a cloth to remove excess oil. Finally, pack everything.
N.B. Only the head is lubricated and not the motor.
Dental turbine maintenance
The turbine must be lubricated every twenty minutes of continuous use, before each sterilization, at least once a day. First wipe a cloth with disinfectant and, if residues remain, pass under running water and brush with a soft-bristled toothbrush.
The turbine must then be inserted into the adapter and press at least a couple of seconds. The operation must be repeated in the event that no transparent oil comes out. Then the adapter is replaced to proceed with the lubrication of the rotor caliper. Press for one or two seconds. Then, remove excess oil.
Micromotor O-ring replacement

Red ring dental contrangle mantainance
This video will show you how to properly maintain a red ring contra-angle.
This instrument must be lubricated every sixty minutes of continuous use and in any case at least once a day. Put on personal protective equipment (goggles and gloves) and proceed with disinfection. Do not spray the disinfectant directly on the instrument but on a cloth that must then be passed over the entire contra-angle. If blood or impurity remains, wash the contra-angle under running water by brushing with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Insert the correct adapter and insert the contra-angle on this. Press the lubricant for one or two seconds and if the oil does not come out transparent then repeat the operation. Then, change the adapter to proceed to lubricate the rotor caliper (the one where the cutter is inserted). Insert the clamp into the adapter and press for one or two seconds, repeating if the oil does not come out clean.
Dental contra-angle maintenance with removable head
Remember that you must lubricate this type of contra-angle every 60 minutes of continuous use, before each sterilization and at least once a day. Repeat the operation several times until the oil comes out transparent. Same thing for the body of the contra-angle.

If transparent oil comes out it will not be necessary to repeat the operation. Remove excess oil and then bag the handpiece.
